Finished No. 28 on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, earning a return to the PGA TOUR and graduating via the Korn Ferry Tour for the fifth time (2004, 2008, 2010, 2021 Finals, 2023). Became the fourth-oldest graduate in Korn Ferry Tour history at 47 years and 7 days of age. Had two top-10s in 22 starts, posting a win at the LECOM Suncoast Classic and T5 at the HomeTown Lenders Championship in back-to-back starts, which moved him to No. 5 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List with 17 events remaining in the season. Maintained a position in the top 30 of the Points List the remainder of the season. One of three players in their 40s who earned TOUR membership via the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List (David Skinns, Josh Teater). LECOM Suncoast Classic - Earned his third career Korn Ferry Tour win and his first since 2008, marking the second-largest gap between wins in Korn Ferry Tour history (14 years, 10 months, 15 days -- a full four years behind Tag Ridings' record). Totaled 21-under 263 before he won in a playoff at Lakewood National Golf Club's Commander Course in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Made a 47-foot birdie putt from the fringe as he defeated 23-year-old Logan McAllister on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff (par-4 18th). Became the 10th-oldest winner in Korn Ferry Tour history at 46 years, 6 months, 22 days of age.
