Sanderson Farms Championship - Defeated Sepp Straka in a playoff to win the Sanderson Farms Championship, earning his second PGA TOUR title and first since the 2016 RSM Classic. Made an 8-foot, 3-inch birdie putt on the second extra hole to defeat Straka. Victory came in his 167th career start on TOUR at the age of 31 years, 10 months, 9 days. Improved to 2-0 in playoffs in his career. Held a share of the second-round lead and improved to 2-0 converting a 36-hole lead/co-lead to victory on TOUR. Marked the second Canadian to win the Sanderson Farms Championship since the event moved to the Country Club of Jackson in 2014 (Nick Taylor/2014). Moved to No. 1 in the FedExCup standings for the first time in his PGA TOUR career. Led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (2.306 per round). World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play - Fell to eventual champion Sam Burns in the Quarterfinals, 3 and 2, to finish T5 at the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. Advanced from group play with a 2-1-0 record and defeated Taylor Montgomery in a playoff to advance to the Round of 16, where he defeated Max Homa, 3 and 2.
