ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP - Finished T5 at the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP, earning the fourth top-five of his career and first of the season. Co-led the field in Birdies (21). The RSM Classic - Finished T2 at The RSM Classic, his second career runner-up on the PGA TOUR and first since the 2022 Travelers Championship. Moved to No. 44 in the Official World Golf Ranking, his first time inside the top 50. Farmers Insurance Open - Recorded his third top-five of the season with a T4 at the Farmers Insurance Open. Masters Tournament - Finished solo-ninth in his tournament debut at the Masters Tournament. Marked his first career top-10 in a major championship. RBC Heritage - Carded a final-round 65 to finish T5 at the RBC Heritage. Fortinet Championship - Earned his first career PGA TOUR title at the 2023 Fortinet Championship, defeating S.H. Kim by two strokes. Victory came in his 74th career start at the age of 25 years, 9 months, 13 days. Became the fourth California native to win the event in a five-year stretch, joining Cameron Champ (2019) and Max Homa (2021, 2022).   • Says he enjoys golf because "the mental toughness needed to play this sport at a high level is unbelievable, and it requires your attention all the time. Although it may not necessarily require the most physical ability, it is by far the hardest sport I have ever played."
  • Is a big fan of the Ranger's Apprentice series of books. Likes to watch American Ninja Warrior, and listens to RL Grime and Flume.
